The Actor’s Self-Tape Toolbox
Mastering Auditions and Self-Tapes: Unleashing Your Full Potential in Film and TV Performance
The Actor’s Self-Tape Toolbox
What you will receive:
Led by Atlanta actor and coach Kara Cantrell, The Actor’s Self-Tape Toolbox is an 8-week course for performers who want more control, more confidence, and more callbacks. You’ll learn how to create a clean, professional self-tape setup at home—on a budget—and get hands-on coaching in how to work the frame, hit your mark, and make bold, bookable choices on camera.
Designed for today’s Atlanta casting market, this class goes beyond ring lights and reader tips. Kara walks you through what casting directors actually notice, how to present yourself like a pro, and how to make the tape itself work harder—whether you’re submitting for co-stars, guest stars, or marketing yourself on social. You’ll rehearse and record two polished self-tapes that feel true to your type and ready to use.
Who should enroll:
This class is built for adult actors serious about working in film and television—especially in Atlanta. Maybe you’re taping constantly but not getting callbacks. Maybe your self-tapes feel flat or inconsistent. Maybe you’re shifting from stage to screen and need structure, feedback, and support. If you’re ready to level up your submission game, build a sustainable self-tape setup, and walk into auditions with more clarity and confidence, this class is for you.
