Courtlyn Howell (she/her) is an Atlanta based performer, voice instructor, choreographer, and music director. She first began her dance career in 2001 at The Pink Slipper School of Dance and her music career began in her elementary school music program. She then continued her training in opera at the Schwob School of Music and her musical theatre and dance training at Columbus State University.
In college her favorite credits include the operas “Cendrillon” (Cendrillon) and “Speed Dating, Tonight” (Dater #4 & #50) and the musicals “Legally Blonde (Elle Woods) and “Pippin” (Fastrada). Her favorite professional theatre credits include “Xanadu”(Kira), “Little Shop of Horrors”(Audrey), “The Little Mermaid” (Ariel) , “Shrek the Musical” (Gingy), and “Cabaret” (LuLu). Along with Broadway World nominations for performing, Courtlyn is a Broadway World nominated music director. She also is a choreographer and dance teacher with experience at Stage Door Theatre, The Springer Theatre Academy, Academy Dance Center, and Georgia Thescon.
When it comes to teaching, Courtlyn feels passionately about helping people find themselves and their confidence through their voice.
