Whether you're working on a cover for karaoke or crafting a song for a performance, this Crash Course will answer the fundamental question “How do I make a song my own?”. We will work together to understand the voice as a tool for emotional expression, trying out different techniques such as melodic and rhythmic phrasing, dynamics, vocal color choice, and more. Students should bring in a song to workshop, and be prepared to walk away with tangible steps for taking their singing covers to the next level!
