Broadway Boot Camp

Five full days of Broadway songs, character work, and stage time — ending in a showcase for the people they love. Across five full camp days, students will work with MKPA coaches on Broadway-style songs, character work, stage presence, movement, and ensemble performance skills. Performers will build confidence, stretch their creativity, and learn what it feels like to rehearse like a performer — all leading toward a fun final showcase-style presentation for family and friends.

What to expect

Inside Broadway Boot Camp

Performers can expect a full-day performing arts experience filled with music, acting, movement, games, rehearsal, and creative teamwork. Each day will help students grow more comfortable onstage while learning how performers bring songs and characters to life. The week is structured to be encouraging, active, and confidence-building, with plenty of support for both newer performers and students who already love being onstage.

By the end

Learn Broadway-style songs and performance material
Build confidence singing and speaking in front of others
Explore character choices, acting moments, and stage presence
Practice movement and ensemble performance skills
Work together as part of a supportive cast
Rehearse material throughout the week
Share what they’ve worked on in a final showcase-style presentation
