Anne Marie Alsobrook is an Atlanta native and multi-hyphenate performing artist. She graduated summa cum laude from Muhlenberg College with her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Music, with a concentration in Vocal Performance. 

While at Muhlenberg, Anne Marie performed in a myriad of mainstage and student-run theatrical productions, and was a four-year member of Muhlenberg’s Chamber Choir. She also music directed and sang in CODA A Cappella, served on the Executive Board of her sorority, worked as an Admissions Tour Guide, and graduated as a member of the RJ Fellows Honors Program. 

A well-rounded person makes a well-rounded performer, and Anne Marie is grateful her liberal arts degree allowed her to accumulate training in directing, music theory and history, tap, opera, hip hop, solo performance, mask work, and aerial silks. Additionally, Anne Marie spent an incredible semester abroad at Theatre Academy London through Florida State University where she studied Acting and earned her BADC Certification in Rapier and Dagger (with Merit).

Anne Marie’s acting background is rooted in Viewpoints, Linklater, Meisner, Grotowski, and Patsy Rodenburg’s Three Circles of Energy. She is trained thoroughly in Voice & Speech, Shakespeare, Contemporary Scene Study, and Musical Theatre and Classical Voice. Anne Marie believes that connecting to the physical allows a performer to easily access open emotional presence, and that when in doubt, answers can always be found in the text!
