Goldie Hatch is a Georgia-native artist originally from Lawrenceville, but is now local to the Atlanta area. Goldie has always had a passion for theatre, and started performing for fun in musicals when they were ten years old, inspired by their theatrical mother. Ever since, Goldie became involved within many metro-Atlanta theatre communities at a young age, which has instilled in them a love for Georgia theatre. After graduating from Providence Christian Academy, Goldie attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a B.F.A in Musical Theatre. Some of Goldie’s favorite shows during their time at Samford include the world premiere of Ryan Scott Oliver's Tomorrow the Island Dies (Widow Clack), Urinetown (Officer Lockstock), Mr. Burns, A Post -Electric Play (Bart Simpson), and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Mr. Tumnus/Father Christmas). Goldie also performed professionally in the Birmingham area in Into the Woods (Milky White/Granny/Giant) with the Virginia Samford Theatre.
During their time at Samford, Goldie strengthened their arts education skills through an education internship at the Tony award-winning ZACH Theatre where they taught musical theatre and voice focused classes. Goldie moved to the Atlanta area after graduating, and now works as a Teaching Artist at the Tony award-winning Alliance Theatre, a tour-guide at the Fox Theatre, and spent time as a voice teacher at a local music school. As well as working as a voice teacher and teaching artist, Goldie performs professionally in the Atlanta area, and recently worked with Woodstock Arts in Sweeney Todd (Tobias).
